Schools usually work with ECM for many years. We have provided School Improvement Partners for 15 years, and many schools and school leaders have been with us throughout that time.
Whatever your measure of success, we can ensure you achieve it, whether it is improved Ofsted judgments, improved assessment outcomes, a better curriculum, behaviour or SEND provision, or more confident staff and leaders.
"ECM have become an outstanding provider of professional development with a national reach and reputation. ECM have co-designed bespoke professional development programmes for head teachers producing excellent resources and materials. They have designed and delivered programmes to support a wide range of school development themes for both senior and middle leaders and have contributed to the success of many schools across the nation. Their bespoke approach ensures support is targeted to achieve maximum impact on outcomes for pupils. ECM’s aim is to make certain that school leaders have the support and assistance to complete major tasks effectively and to a high standard, whilst providing excellent value for money. I can highly recommend ECM. "
Mark Elms
Director of Education for Reach South
“Our ECM Associate demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our school's success, not only through on-site assessments but also through consistent telephone support. The availability and responsiveness displayed by our leadership partner has been instrumental during times when quick decisions and guidance were paramount. One of the most commendable aspects of our leadership partner’s support was the provision of sound and practical advice. Her deep understanding of educational leadership, combined with a keen insight into OFSTED requirements, helped me navigate the challenges of enhancing our school's performance. Our leadership partner was not only a consultant but a mentor, offering guidance on strategic planning, curriculum development, and effective leadership practices.”
Stacey Postle
Headteacher at Beaumont Primary School
"My experience of ECM was one of high quality professional support and dialogue. Communication was timely and clear. There was genuine time and consideration given to the context of the Trust and how services could be delivered in a bespoke way to reflect our vision and to meet our needs. There was a real attention given to strong working relationships as well as efficiency of service. This ongoing dialogue meant that the needs of the Trust were clearly reflected in the work carried out."
Andrew Rigby
REAch2 National Director of Education
"ECM has played a pivotal role in our journey. From the earliest days of this growing trust, large numbers of school leaders were trained in exceptional systems which dovetailed together – systems which have been praised for their effectiveness in Ofsted inspections and provided a coherent and Trust-wide approach. Our school leaders and governors always referred to the high-quality professional training that ECM offered as one of the aspects of being in REAch2 that they most appreciated. What is rare perhaps, is the willingness of the directors of ECM to go the extra mile for their clients; literally nothing has felt like it is too much trouble, and the eye for detail and the determination to get it right for us has been immensely appreciated."
Cathie Paine
REAch2 CEO
“I have been supported by ECM for over ten years. Each consultant I have worked with has fostered strong and trusting relationships with both me and the school. They have been honest and professional in helping and guiding the school to move forward with our development areas. Their knowledge of current educational developments and insight has been invaluable.”
Marie Kwiatkowski
Headteacher at St Thomas of Canterbury RC Primary School
"ECM have supported our school in a number of ways over the last 5 years and this has had such a positive impact upon the development and progress across the school community. Through our School Improvement Partner days, we feel confident that we have someone who knows our school and staff incredibly well, understanding our context, which enables honest conversations that have strengthened the school’s capacity to improve further. Staff now feel confident and able to articulate curriculum developments and progress against targets through the coaching provided by our School Improvement Partner. This shared and collaborative working has enhanced the delivery of performance management for the leadership team, which cascades from the ECM-supported Headteacher Performance Management. Clear objectives are devised together which allow for CPD and the realistic workloads of staff."

Headteacher at Woolston CE Primary School
